What is a Rally Setting?
A Rally can be public or private. A public Rally means that anyone can join your Rally and view content as long as they create a Rallyhood account. A private Rally means that members must be invited and approved by the administrator and that content is only visible to members.
Search Engine Results
Search engines like Google may display your Rally and Rally content in search results but you can select how “discoverable” your site is.
(Choose this one if you are starting a Rally with friends) In a private Rally, search engines can only display the Rally Title and Rally Cry. When someone clicks on that search result, only approved members of the Rally will be able to see the contents of the Rally. All others will only see the Rally Name, Rally Cry and Cover Photo and cannot access content from the Rally.
(Choose this one if you are trying to attract general members to your Rally) In a public Rally, search engines can crawl the content of Message Wall posts, Comments, Rally Title, File Names and other parts of the Rally. A Google search result may include snippets of content from the Rally.
